Education That Moves Young People Forward

A New Chapter for AS2Educate
We have recently launched a full rebrand alongside a brand-new website, creating a clearer identity that reflects who we are today and where we are heading in the future. Our updated branding represents progression, confidence and forward movement while still staying rooted in the values that have always shaped our provision.
The refreshed identity was intentionally designed to move away from traditional institutional education branding and instead communicate structure, aspiration and opportunity. Our new logo is a refined evolution of the original AS2 identity, using geometric movement and clean structure to symbolise the journey young people take from disruption toward direction and independence.
While the visual identity has changed, our purpose remains exactly the same. We exist to support young people who need education to work differently in order for it to work at all.
Who We Support
We provide KS4 and Post-16 Alternative Provision for young people aged 14–18 across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. We support students who may have experienced exclusion, anxiety, trauma, safeguarding concerns, instability or difficulties engaging within mainstream education environments.
Many young people arrive with us feeling disconnected from learning and uncertain about their future. Some may have struggled within larger educational settings, while others require smaller environments, stronger relationships and clearer routines in order to begin engaging positively with education again.
We built AS2Educate around the understanding that education cannot always look the same for every young person. Rather than lowering expectations, we focus on creating calm, structured environments where young people feel safe enough to rebuild confidence and begin progressing again.
Our approach combines safeguarding, consistency and preparation for adulthood, helping students move towards greater stability, independence and long-term opportunity.
More Than Alternative Provision
Everything we do is designed around progression and long-term outcomes rather than short-term intervention alone. We combine academic learning, vocational education and life skills development to help young people move towards sustainable futures with greater confidence and independence.
Students work towards qualifications in English, maths, functional skills and digital skills while also accessing vocational opportunities that help develop practical experience and career-focused pathways. We currently offer vocational learning in areas such as construction, mechanics, carpentry, hair and beauty and sport-based programmes, alongside enrichment opportunities that support confidence, teamwork and employability.
Alongside qualifications, we also help students develop essential life skills that prepare them for adulthood. Support with CV writing, interview preparation, communication skills, budgeting and independent travel is built into our wider approach because we believe education should prepare young people for life beyond the classroom as well as achievement within it.
Success at AS2Educate is never measured in one single way. For some students, progress begins with attendance, emotional regulation or simply rebuilding confidence around education again. For others, success may mean college placements, apprenticeships or employment pathways. Every stage of progress matters because every stage helps move a young person closer towards independence and stability.
