But Education Is

KS4 and Post-16 Alternative Provision for young people who need a different path through education.

AS2Educate supports young people aged 14–18 who benefit from an alternative learning environment. Many arrive having experienced disruption, anxiety or complex challenges.

A Different Pathway Into Education

Mainstream education works well for many young people, but some need a different approach. That does not mean education cannot still work.

AS2Educate provides a route back into learning, supporting young people across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and surrounding areas to rebuild confidence through consistent relationships, clear expectations and trauma-informed practice.

We work with students experiencing anxiety, SEMH needs, risk of exclusion or disruption in their lives. Success looks different for everyone, from attendance and engagement to building trust. Each step becomes a stepping stone toward confidence, stability and what comes next.

Real Outcomes &
Meaningful Process

AS2Educate is built around progression, not placement. Young people work toward recognised qualifications in English, Maths and digital skills, alongside life skills and vocational pathways such as construction, mechanics, hair and beauty and sport.

Programmes including The King’s Trust, Duke of Edinburgh and Arts Award further support confidence, resilience and employability.

Progress looks different for every young person, from rebuilding confidence and re-engaging with learning to moving on to college, apprenticeships or employment. Graduation recognises these achievements, with some students also receiving a £100 monthly scholarship to support their next steps.
