At AS2Educate, learning helps young people rebuild confidence while developing skills for adulthood.
The curriculum combines academic, practical and life skills learning through personalised pathways. Each step forward builds confidence, independence and a clearer path for the future.

Core Subjects

Students work towards recognised qualifications that support progression into college, training or employment. Core learning areas include:
Functional Skills Entry Level - English and Maths
Functional Skills Level 1 & Level 2 - English and Maths
Level 1 in Occupational Studies
Level 1 in Employability Skills
King's Trust Award, Certificate or Diploma in Personal Development and Employability Skills
Independent Life Skills (including catering)
PSHCEE (Personal, Social, Health, Citizenship and Economic Education)

These subjects help students strengthen essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, teamwork and independence.

Specialist Programme

Alongside core subjects, students can explore specialist vocational pathways that provide practical experience and recognised qualifications. Programmes include:
City & Guilds Entry Level 3 - Level 1 Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance
NOCN Entry Level 3 - Level 1 Hair and Beauty
VTCT Level 1/2 Beauty Therapy
City & Guilds Entry Level 3 - Level 1 Diploma in Bricklaying or Carpentry

These opportunities allow young people to discover new interests, develop hands-on skills and explore possible career paths.

Sport & Enrichment

Physical activity and enrichment are an important part of the AS2Educate experience. Sport helps many young people develop confidence, resilience and positive routines.

Exam & Assessments

At AS2Educate, assessments are designed to recognise each young person's progress and support their next steps.

We deliver a range of accredited qualifications through NCFE, including:

  • Functional Skills in English, Maths and Digital Skills
  • Occupational Studies
  • Employability qualifications

Assessments take place in a supportive environment where students are prepared and encouraged to achieve their best.

AS2Educate follows all Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations to ensure exams and assessments are delivered fairly, securely and in line with national standards.

EXAM OFFICER

Claire is the named Exams Officer and oversees all aspects of exam administration, including entries, timetabling, access arrangements and compliance with JCQ requirements.
