A Message from Richard

Welcome to the July edition of our Progress Journal.

As we move into August, we'd like to thank all of our students, families, carers and partner professionals for another fantastic year at AS2Educate. July was a month filled with celebrations, achievements and exciting milestones, as we recognised the hard work our young people have put in throughout the year and looked ahead to the future.

From celebrating our Post-16 leavers and rewarding students for their commitment, to expanding our curriculum and welcoming new team members, we've ended the academic year on a real high.

We hope you enjoy looking back on some of July's highlights!

Celebrating Erin's Next Chapter

Last month, we said goodbye to one of our wonderful Post-16 students, Erin, as she prepares to begin college.

We're incredibly proud of everything Erin has achieved during her time at AS2Educate. Her hard work, determination and personal growth have been a pleasure to witness, and we know she has a bright future ahead.

Good luck, Erin. We can't wait to see everything you achieve next!

Celebrating Our Post-16 Students

To mark the end of the academic year, our Post-16 students chose to celebrate with a lunch together.

It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on everything they have achieved, celebrate their hard work and enjoy time together before beginning their next chapters.

We're incredibly proud of every one of our students and wish them all the very best for the future.

KS4 End of Term Breakfast

Our KS4 students rounded off the term with a well-deserved breakfast at Toby Carvery.

After a busy year of learning, personal development and achievement, it was a fantastic opportunity to relax together and celebrate another successful year at AS2Educate.

Supporting One of Our Own

One of the highlights of July saw our students and staff come together to support Michael Stephenson, a member of the AS2Educate team, as he stepped into the boxing ring.

For our young people, it was a brilliant opportunity to see someone they know working hard towards a personal goal outside of AS2Educate, while the evening also gave our team the chance to celebrate and support one another.

Congratulations once again, Michael!

Quality Assurance with Central Bedfordshire Council

Continuous improvement remains an important part of everything we do!

This month, we welcomed Central Bedfordshire Council for a quality assurance meeting, giving us the opportunity to reflect on our provision, share our progress and continue strengthening the support we provide for young people and families.

We’re Now an ASDAN Provider!

We're delighted to announce that AS2Educate is now an approved ASDAN provider.

From the new academic year, we'll be introducing ASDAN Short Courses into our curriculum, creating even more opportunities for young people to develop practical skills, gain recognised achievements and prepare for their futures.

We're excited to see the positive impact these new qualifications will have.

Growing Our Team

As AS2Educate continues to grow, we're pleased to welcome two new members of staff who will be joining us in September!

We're looking forward to introducing them properly and know they'll be a fantastic addition to the team as we continue to develop our provision.

A DREAM Reward to Remember

One of our Post-16 students recently enjoyed an unforgettable DREAM Points reward with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Emirates Stadium.

Chosen by the student as a reward for their hard work and commitment throughout the year, the experience was described as being one of the top three best days of their life.

Hearing feedback like this reminds us just how meaningful these opportunities can be. Rewarding commitment isn't just about recognising achievement; it's about creating memorable experiences that inspire, motivate and stay with young people long after the day itself.

Looking Ahead

Although our young people are enjoying a well-earned summer break, preparations for the new academic year are already well underway.

Throughout August, our team will be continuing their professional development, reviewing policies, strengthening safeguarding practice and preparing exciting new learning opportunities ready for September.

We can't wait to welcome everyone back for another year of growth, achievement and opportunity.

Thank you for reading our July Progress Journal, and we wish all of our students, families and partners a wonderful rest of the summer!
